In this course, you will learn that in the realm of employment, interviews are crucial and why employers utilize employment interviews (also known as selection interviews) to find the best candidates for a position. You will frame your resume, and identify the best questions during an interview. You will also learn strategies to be successful during the interview process. 


Mastering Communication at Work 101

Controlling your speech at work is a part of mastering communication. In this course, you will how to add color to your communication using the horsemen technique. You will learn what to listen for, the importance of credibility, validation, and motivation.  You will learn basic techniques to help you master communication at work.

Responding to Inbound and Outbound Calls

Responding to inbound and outbound calls is a crucial on the job task. In this course, you will learn what is an outbound and inbound call, why employers receive inbound and outbound calls, and the importance of effectively responding to inbound calls with accuracy and efficiency. You will learn how to effectively respond to inbound and outbound calls at work by applying best practice approaches that ensure you are meeting your employer's expectations. 

Public Speaking 101

This course provides you with the tools you need to prepare and deliver excellent speeches, from face-to-face presentations to virtual presentations, including those delivered online. You will learn the fundamental elements of a good speech and how to deliver presentations in a range of settings, from the college classroom to professional settings, like the workplace. You'll also discover tried-and-true methods for conquering the nervousness that comes with public speaking.


In addition, you will have the opportunity to examine topics that are important to you, consider alternative opinions, and determine a plan of action as you study public speaking.  You'll learn the "rules of engagement" for productive public discourse.
